Peter Wood \u2013 Creative Director<\/strong>
\nPeter is the president and creative director of The Hucksters. A 1986 graduate of the Royal College of Art, Peter has worked for The Richards Group, Dallas; Ogilvy and Mather, Houston, and R&R Partners in Las Vegas, before founding The Hucksters. Peter started The Hucksters with the idea of bringing leaner, more targeted and more effective advertising to clients, such as Boyd Gaming, the Houston Dynamo, and American Ironhorse Motorcycles. Though Peter lives in downtown Houston, his heart remains in Islington, where his lifelong love, the Arsenal, dares to go on without him.<\/p>\n

Vicky Yao \u2013 Art Director \/ Graphic Designer<\/strong>
\nArt Director Vicky Yao is a graduate of LA\u2019s prestigious Art Institute of California. Deciding to start at the top, Vicky worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, Taiwan, where she helped launch the Toyota Prius brand in both print and TV. An award-winning designer and illustrator, Vicky has an unequaled air for vivid, elegant and eye-popping design (and the youth to understand all the digital stuff that makes our heads spin). Vicky is an inveterate world-traveler and hopes someday to see every locale on the BBC\u2019s list of 50 Places To See.<\/p>\n

Allen Weaver \u2013 Senior Designer<\/strong>
\nAllen is a senior designer at The Hucksters. A graduate of East Texas State University, with a degree in graphic design, Allen has honed his Paul Rand influenced design manifesto to a fine point. Allen has designed exceptional work for American IronHorse Motorcycles, Internet America, Acme Brick, Overhead Door, Husqvarna Power Equipment and Disney during time at two of Dallas\u2019 best design firms: Joiner Rowland Serio and MMB Strategy. Growing up in Arkansas and mountain biking the fire-roads of the Ouachitas, Allen knows great BBQ. And he knows just right cabernet to go with a tangy (dry rubbed!) plate of beef ribs.<\/p>\n

Kyle Gilliland \u2013 Copywriter<\/strong>
\nSenior Copywriter Kyle Gilliland is an original member of The Hucksters. After graduating from college, Kyle spent the next 20 years in Los Angeles as a copywriter, commercial producer, television writer, and journalist. He met Peter in Las Vegas, where their similar philosophies of, and admiration for, authentic American advertising merged. He\u2019s worked for Tracy-Locke, Dallas; DDB Needham, Dallas, Denver and Chicago; and BBDO, New York. His clients included Pepsi, Frito-Lay, McDonald\u2019s, Coors, Reebok and Midas.<\/p>\n

Tasha Consiglio \u2013 Media Account Director<\/strong>
\nTasha grew up in Guam and graduated from Chaminade University in Hawaii with a degree in Marketing. Prior to joining The Hucksters, Tasha worked for Houston\u2019s Bernard Hodes Group, where her clients included Corner Bakery Caf\u00e9 and Chili\u2019s. Tasha manages most of The Hucksters\u2019 clients, including Katz\u2019s Deli, The Schooner Restaurant, Scores Sports Bars and USA CABERNET. A social media enthusiast, Tasha\u2019s passions include fashion, travel and all things design \u2013 which she is on constant pursuit of via Pinterest, facebook and Instagram and Twitter.<\/p>\n
